Dennis Carpenter is a United States Army Veteran.  Dennis is a seasoned leader with expertise in management, learning development, recruitment, and mentorship.  For over 16 years, Dennis has focused his energy on making a difference in veteran hiring within the recruitment strategy and staffing industry. 

 

Dennis brings to this role, six years of military experience, including experience as an Army Recruiter.  As an Army Recruiter, Dennis’ role was to be a subject matter expert on all of the benefits of a military background.  While in this role, he consistently met his recruitment goals and for that, he was recognized as one of the top three recruiters in the state of Michigan. 

 

In addition to his military experience, Dennis draws upon over a decade of recruitment industry experience.  He has worked in many industries to include Automotive, Finance and spent seven years with General Dynamics in the Military Defense industry where he served as the Recruiting Project Manager overseeing large-scale projects that ranged from 30 to 300 veterans that were placed in their civilian counterpart roles to perform maintenance on vehicles ranging from the M1 Abrams Tank to STRYKER and MRAP vehicles.  Dennis oversaw the logistics as well as the recruitment while being held to strict deadlines. 

 

Most recently, Dennis served as the Veteran Program Manager for a Fortune 10 company where he diligently worked and succeeded to grow veteran hiring to over 4 times the 7% federal benchmark throughout several areas of business. While in this role, Dennis provided expertise in transferring military/veteran skill sets, military/veteran training and building partner networks to ensure his client was able to not just hit the federal benchmark, but to also market and create awareness in the veteran community demonstrating the client's commitment to veteran hiring.
